What's the difference between a Registered and Not Registered Puppy?

Our AKC Registered puppies are Registered as a Litter under their parent's names.
Registration of a puppy is completely up to the new owner.
Registration means that your pup can join in on AKC events, such as being a show dog, or competing in AKC agility competitions. Non registered puppies cannot be registered.
We only have one female that is not Registered. Beans' breeder decided not to do the paperwork for her litter. Both of her parents were registered Golden Retrievers.

Well, I just want it as a pet, can I get a cheaper price?

Puppies are a lot to handle, and the paperwork to register as a litter isn't cheap.
Occasionaly we will do a "Limited Registration" which takes away the ability to carry over the dogs registration to their future puppies.
But we don't offer a cheaper price because you don't want to register your puppy.
